MICROWAVE SYSTEMS

Heating, airflow and safety work as one system

Solo, grill and convection ovens combine high-voltage heating with mechanical and electronic controls.

01

Heating circuit

The high-voltage system powers the magnetron that produces microwave energy for heating food.

02

Door interlocks

Multiple safety switches confirm the door is fully closed before the heating circuit can operate.

03

Turntable drive

The motor, coupler and roller ring rotate food for more even heating.

04

Cooling airflow

A cooling fan protects electrical components and moves warm air through the cabinet vents.

05

Convection system

Convection models use a heater and fan to circulate hot air for baking and roasting.

06

Electronic control

The keypad, display and PCB coordinate time, power level, sensors, relays and cooking modes.

COMMON PROBLEMS

What we check during microwave service

  • Runs but does not heat: heating circuit, protection devices and control switching.
  • Will not start: door latches, interlock switches, fuse, supply and keypad.
  • Turntable not moving: coupler, roller support and drive motor.
  • Display or keypad fault: membrane keypad, display connection and control board.
  • Noise or burning smell: fan, motor, arcing evidence and internal contamination.

Important: A microwave can retain dangerous high voltage even when unplugged. Do not remove its outer cover yourself.
